Privacy Policy

Your privacy

Who is responsible for your information.

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Bella’s Pizzeria is the controller of personal information used to operate this website and fulfil orders. We operate inside Bootleg Social, 30 Topping Street, Blackpool, FY1 3AQ.

Questions and data protection requests can be sent to hello@bellaspizzeria.co.uk.

Information we collect

Only what we need to serve you.

  • Your name, email address and mobile number.
  • Your order, recipe choices, collection time, notes, total, payment status and order history.
  • A private tracking token used to show the status of your order.
  • Messages, complaints and other correspondence you send us.
  • Technical and security information such as IP address, browser details, session identifiers and login records.
  • If you consent to Google Analytics, information about visits to public pages, approximate location, device/browser type, referring page and interactions.
  • For staff accounts, profile, authentication, passkey and active-session information.

Dietary selections are treated as preparation instructions. We do not use them to infer your health, beliefs or other sensitive characteristics. Please give only the practical instruction the kitchen needs and do not include medical details in order notes.

How and why we use it

The purposes and lawful bases.

  • Contract: to take, prepare, manage and update your order, reserve capacity, take payment where applicable and provide order tracking.
  • Legal obligation: to meet accounting, tax, food safety and other legal duties.
  • Legitimate interests: to provide customer service, run the kitchen, secure and troubleshoot the service, prevent misuse and establish or defend legal claims.
  • Consent: to use optional Google Analytics and, if offered in future, to send marketing you have actively requested.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share it with

Trusted services and people who need it.

We share information only where necessary with staff preparing and handing over orders; website and database hosting providers; transactional email providers; SumUp and its payment services for terminal payments; professional advisers, insurers or authorities where legally required; and Google only when you consent to Analytics.

We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards. Contact us if you would like more information about relevant safeguards.

How long we keep it

No longer than necessary.

Order and payment records are normally kept for up to six years after the transaction where needed for accounting, tax, complaints or legal claims. Routine customer-service correspondence is kept only while needed to resolve the issue and for a reasonable period afterwards. Security logs and abandoned basket/session data are kept for shorter operational periods.

Google Analytics information is kept according to the retention setting applied to our Analytics property and should be held no longer than needed for website reporting. Staff account records are retained while the account is active and for a reasonable security period afterwards.

Your rights

Access and control.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for a copy of your personal information; to correct or delete it; to restrict or object to its use; or to provide information you gave us in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful use.

These rights can have legal exceptions. Email hello@bellaspizzeria.co.uk and tell us what you need. We may ask for information to verify your identity.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, although we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

Security and updates

How we look after information.

We use access controls, encrypted connections, private tracking links, software updates and other proportionate safeguards. No online service can promise absolute security, so keep your tracking link private and contact us if you believe it has been disclosed.

We may update this policy when the service, providers or law changes. The current version and its update date will always appear on this page. Material new uses of personal information will be brought to your attention where required.

Mailing list

News you have asked to receive.

If you join our mailing list, we use your name (if supplied), email address, consent record and subscription status to send Bella’s launch news and occasional offers. We rely on your consent. We send a confirmation email before activating the subscription, and every marketing email will let you unsubscribe.

We keep active subscriber details until you unsubscribe or we close the list. We may retain a limited suppression record afterwards so we can respect your choice. Our website and email providers process this information only to provide those services for us. We do not sell the list.
